A Local Place to Call Your Own. Your neighborhood spot on 14th Street in the U Street corridor of DC.

The Fainting Goat is a New American tavern in the heart of Washington, D.C.’s historic U Street corridor from owners Greg Algie and Chef Nathan Beauchamp. Exposed brick walls, earthy tones and stunning chandeliers outfit the restaurant, creating a relaxed, welcoming ambiance. All of our food is prepared fresh with the highest quality ingredients. We purchase from local sources such as Wagon Wheel Ranch in Mount Airy, Maryland to ensure that only healthy livestock are being used for your dining experience.
